The army arrests seven wanted individuals and seizes weapons, military ammunition, drugs, and military equipment

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On September 26, 2026, following a security operation involving surveillance and monitoring, an Army unit arrested the Citizen (M.M.) and the Syrian (Z.N.) in  Raoucheh - Beirut for committing various crimes, including forming a robbery and theft  gang, terrorizing citizens, and using drugs. A military pistol, an amount of drugs, and tools used in theft and robbery were found in their possession.

Another Army unit raided the homes of wanted individuals in Shrawneh neighborhood and Al Knaiseh - Baalbek, arresting Citizens (AA.AA.Z.), (AA.M.Z.), (AA.Z.), and (M.H.M.) for possessing military weapons, as well as the Syrian (A.H.) for moving within Lebanese territory without legal documents. The unit seized a quantity of military weapons and ammunition, in addition to drugs and military equipment.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
