Raid Operation, Arrests, and Seizure of Stolen Vehicles and Drugs

Within the framework of the security measures carried out by the military institution to combat drug trafficking and organized crime, and following the availability of information regarding the presence of stolen vehicles in Brital and Taybeh –Baalbek, Army units raided the residences of wanted individuals. They arrested four Syrians and a Lebanese citizen (A.Y.), who is wanted for committing theft and drug-trafficking crimes.

In their possession, the units seized six stolen vehicles, a quantity of hashish and drug pills, in addition to military equipment and vehicle parts.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
