Arrest of counterfeit currency dealer in Hamra – Beirut

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 2/1/2021, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Hamra – Beirut (A.S.D) for promoting counterfeit currency of 50 and 100 dollars bills, and seized in his possession an amount of 4000 dollars of it.

The arrested confessed to carrying out other similar acts on previous dates.

 Investigation had been initiated under the supervision of the valid judiciary authorities.
