Terrorists arrested in Arsal

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Intelligence Directorate arrested in Arsal, 18 Lebanese and Syrian individuals who belong to cells linked to the terrorist organization ISIS, as a result of a series of field operations during the past 2 weeks.

The arrested confessed their support and affiliation with the aforementioned terrorist organization, while following up its publications, as well as planning to carry out terrorist acts. A quantity of weapons and ammunition was also seized.

An Investigation has been initiated under the supervision of the valid judiciary authorities. The Directorate continues to monitor the remaining suspects to arrest them.
