Raiding of a boat, night attack on a terrorist cell, as part of the joint exercise Resolute Union 2021

LAF units continue with their drills as part of the joint exercise Resolute Union 2021, held in cooperation with troops from the US and Jordanian armies. Units from the Marine Commandos Regiment performed a night raid with the participation of units from the Air Forces and the Navy Forces, simulating the taking down of a terrorist group that has hijacked a boat facing Beirut Port. A unit from the Counter Terrorism and Spying Branch in the Directorate of Intelligence has also performed a night attack at the outskirts of Bolonia on a terrorist group, the members of which were barricaded in a distant region.
