Individuals arrested and an amount of materials set for smuggling seized

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 08/07/2021, the army units deployed in the South and Bekaa arrested 7 Lebanese, and 1 Palestinian for attempting to commit smuggling outside the Lebanese territories, and seized 3000 liters of gasoline and tobacco, loaded in 1 car, 1 Van, 5 Pickups and a truck, set for smuggling into the Syrian territories.
The arrested individuals and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities.
