The funeral of the martyred Private Mohamad al-Arab

The Army Command and the people of Chaet - Baalbek district, organized the funeral of the martyred Private Mohamad al-Arab who was martyred on 17/11/2021 in Saida, in the presence of a crowd of citizens and soldiers.

The honoring ceremony took place at Hammoud Hospital University Medical Center - Saida, where a unit of Military Police and Army Band performed the ritual ceremonials. Then, the martyr was transported to his village.

In Chaet, a memorial service was held in the presence of the Brigadier General Engineer Mohamad al Jabi, representing the Minister of National Defense Maurice Selim and the Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun. He delivered a speech in which he said:

“Mohamad chose the path of honor, sacrifice, and loyalty out of desire and conviction, looking forward to serving his country and preserving its dignity and civil peace. Certainly, the concept of martyrdom for his homeland has remained present in his consciousness since joining the military institution, just as it is present in the conscience of his comrades who followed the path of heroes”.
