Individuals forming a car theft ring arrested in the north

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 25/02/2022, an army unit arrested at Ruwaymah checkpoint – North, the citizen (A.H.) and the 2 Syrians (H.A.) and (J.A.) who formed a car theft ring.

The former was arrested while driving a Mercedes with papers belonging to another person. Moreover, the 2 Syrians were arrested in a Hyundai that had been stolen in the morning from Hadat – Baabda.

The arrestee, along with the seized cars, were handed over to the competent authorities, and an investigation was began.
