The arrival of the first instalment of the financial donation provided by the State of Qatar to the Lebanese Army

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 12/08/2022, the first instalment of the financial donation provided by His Highness the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani was received by the Lebanese Army as a contribution to support the soldiers. Equal distribution of the donation began among all soldiers today.

The Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun expressed his thanks to His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar for his initiatives towards the Lebanese Army, noting its commitment to Lebanon and its army amid the challenges it faces as a result of the repercussions of the deteriorating economic situation.
