Continued Coordination between the Army and UNIFIL within the Framework of Resolution 1701

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Some media outlets have reported information about the suspension of joint patrols between the Army and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
The Army Command affirms that military units continue to carry out joint missions with UNIFIL, and maintain close cooperation and coordination with it, within the framework of Resolution 1701, amid the exceptional circumstances and developments witnessed by the country, particularly the ongoing aggressions from the Israeli enemy.
