Arrest of 3 individuals in the town of Hourtala – Bekaa.

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 9/8/2024, a military unit supported by a patrol from the intelligence directorate raided the residences of wanted individuals in Hourtala - Bekaa and arrested the citizen (W.M.) for opening fire, as well as the Syrians (B.A.) and (M.H.) for illegally roaming within Lebanese territory. The first individual was in contact with a large number of wanted individuals, while the second works in greenhouses for the cultivation of marijuana on behalf of one of the wanted persons, and the unit destroyed 3. Military weapons and ammunition as well as a quantity of drugs were also seized, in addition to two illegal vehicles.
The seized items were handed over and the investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
