Raids on the Residences of Wanted Individuals and Arrest of Two Individuals in Arsal–Bekaa

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 12 January 2025, after receiving information about arms trafficking and the presence of a warehouse in the town of Arsal, an army unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of wanted individuals in the Ras Al Sarj - Arsal. A warehouse containing a large quantity of various types of weapons and ammunition was found inside the residence of one of the wanted individuals.
Additionally, two individuals were arrested in Arsal – Bekaa: the citizen (M.R.) and the Syrian (Y.B.), who were found in possession of military weapons and a quantity of ammunition.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
