THE INTERIM LAF COMMANDER VISITS THE DEPUTY COMMANDER OF UNIFIL AND ONE OF ITS OFFICERS AT THE SAINT GEORGE HOSPITAL IN BEIRUT

The Interim Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, Major General Hassan Audi, visited the Deputy Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and one of its officers at the Saint George Hospital in Beirut, after they were attacked by protesters on February 14, 2025, on the road to Rafic Hariri International Airport. Major General Audi was briefed on their health condition, wishing them a speedy recovery, and praised the crucial role of UNIFIL in southern Lebanon. He also emphasized the Army Command's rejection of any assault on its personnel and affirmed the commitment to apprehending the assailants and bringing them to justice.
