Arrest of a Citizen at the Madfoun Checkpoint – Batroun

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On February 18, 2025, an army unit arrested a citizen (A.GH.) at the Madfoun checkpoint in Batroun for attempting to flee from checkpoint personnel. A large quantity of drugs, a sum of counterfeit money, and a fire gun were seized from him.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
