Performing exceptional security measures on the occasion of Fitr

On the occasion of the blessed Fitr and the ceremonies that will be held in different Lebanese regions, army units began performing exceptional security measures around mosques, main streets, shopping centers and touristic sites. These measures consist of a wide deployment of troops and executing patrols on foot and in vehicles as well as establishing fixed and mobile checkpoints and surveillance posts.

The army command calls upon citizens to be fully responsive with the security measures that will be performed by the army throughout the Fitr season in order to preserve their safety and security.
