A ceremony honoring the head of the municipality of Jdeidet Marjeyoun Mr. Amal Hourani at the Officers Club in Yarzeh

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun held a ceremony honoring the head the municipality of Jdeidet Marjeyoun Mr. Amal Hourani along with his spouse Ms. Rima and his son Mr. Wael for offering a monetary donation for 500 thousand USD at the Officers Club in Yarzeh with the presence of several officers.

General Aoun expressed his appreciation to Ms. Hourani and his family on behalf of every soldier and family of every family of a martyr for the donation that was addressed to families and martyrs and to the infirmaries of Jezzine and Mount Lebanon in the Military Healthcare unit. General Aoun said: “ our main weapon in the LAF is the love of the Lebanese”, then offered Mr. Hourani a commemorative shield.

Moreover, Mr. Hourani considered that this donation is the duty of every citizen towards the military institution and commended its performance towards Lebanon and the Lebanese and stated: “the LAF is our dignity and our guarantee.” He then announced on his behalf and on behalf of his spouse and son that he will offer another donation for 500 thousand USD to the LAF. Moreover, General Aoun announced that it will be intended for the contribution in the rehabilitation of surgical rooms at the military central hospital.
