Visitors of the Armed Forces Commander

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received the US minister of foreign affairs Mike Pompeo, accompanied by his spouse and his assistant for Middle East affairs David Hale along with his assistant by interim David Satterfield, with the presence of US Ambassador to Lebanon Elizabeth Richard. Pompeo confirmed to General Aoun the continuous US support to the LAF, the strategic partner in fighting terrorism. General Aoun expressed his appreciation to the US for their trust in the LAF in the face of terrorism and in reinforcing stability.
