The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation declares the sad demise of retired Brigadier General Fehmi Hamdan who passed away on 26/3/2020 and the following information offer a brief summary of his life and career:

• Born on: 1/1/1926 in Shehim - Shouf
• Enlisted in the Army on 9/10/1948 and has risen through the ranks, starting as a Lieutenant and ending up as a Brigadier General on 1/1/1978.
• Received several medals and decorations, commendation and felicitation of the LAF Commander.
• Followed several training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
• Married with 4 children.
