A clash in Tariq al-Jedideh, RPGs and machine guns were used

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On this date, an armed clash broke out between two groups of young men in Beirut’s Tariq al-Jedideh area. RPGs and machine guns were used, which led to one death and two injuries who were transferred to a local hospital for treatment.
The LAF intervened to restore the security and shooters are being pursued in order to turn them in to the relevant authorities.
