The Army continues to implement measures to prevent smuggling and illegal infiltration across land borders

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Within the framework of the security operations carried out to fight against human smuggling across land borders, army units thwarted, on various dates during this month, an infiltration attempt by about 600 Syrians at the Lebanese-Syrian borders. It also worked to close border loopholes used to smuggle individuals and contraband.
