Army Personnel Fire Warning Shots at Unknown Armed Individuals Crossing from Syrian Territory and Approaching a Military Position

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 10/12/2024, in the outskirts of Kfarqouq – Rashaya Al Wadi, unknown gunmen coming from Syrian territory crossed the border and approached a military position, firing into the air while taking equipment from within a Syrian military position that had been evacuated. The army personnel fired warning shots, forcing the gunmen to retreat back into Syrian territory.
