The arrest of 11 Individuals in North, Bekaa, and Sidon as Part of Security Measures

As part of the security measures being carried out by the military institution, Army units, supported by patrols from the Intelligence Directorate, arrested 11 individuals as follows:

• Arrest of the citizens (A.D.) and (M.D.) in Deir Aamar - North for their involvement in smuggling 28 Syrians into Lebanese territory.
• Arrest of the citizen (A.M.) in Bzal - North, as he was wanted for theft, and for suspicion of opening fire and throwing two hand grenades during a family dispute.
• Arrest of the citizen (W.H.) in Aarsal - Bekaa, as he was wanted for opening fire.
• Arrest of 6 Syrians in the areas of Labwe, El Balee, and Jaboule - Bekaa, for possessing military weapons and illegally entering Lebanese territory.
• Arrest of the Palestinian (Sh.Z.) at the entrance of the Ain El Hilweh Camp - Sidon, as he was wanted for opening fire.

The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
