Arrest of 3 citizens in different areas

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 29/01/2025, an army unit arrested at Majdal Zoun checkpoint – Tyre, the citizen (H.A.) for attempting to escape from the checkpoint personnel, and seized a quantity of military equipment in his possession. Another unit arrested at Al Awali checkpoint – Sidon, the citizen (H.S.A.) for possessing a handgun and an amount of military ammunition.
Moreover, an army unit supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the residences of wanted individuals in Hay Al Sharawneh - Baalbek and arrested the citizen (H.T.) for shooting. A quantity of firearms and military ammunition were seized in his possession.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
