Arrest of 35 individuals in Bourj Hammoud and Nabaa within the Framework of Security Measures

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Within the framework of the security measures taken by the military institution in various regions, Army units supported by patrols from the Intelligence Directorate arrested 35 persons in Bourj Hammoud and Nabaa as follows:
•    Arrest of 4 Lebanese for drug abuse and traffic, in addition to one of them possessing a military pistol.
•    Arrest of 25 Syrians, 2 Egyptians, and 1 Jordanian for committing various crimes, including illegally entering Lebanese territory, possession of sharp tools, drug use, and possession.
•    Arrest of 3 Palestinians for driving illegal vehicles.
The seized items were handed over and the investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
