Arrest of 4 citizens and a Palestinian within the framework of security measures

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Within the framework of the security measures taken by the military institution, army units supported by intelligence patrols arrested 5 individuals as follows:
•    The arrest of citizen (B.Kh.) in the town of Chadra - North for opening fire.
•    The arrest of citizen (D.M.) in Jbeil area for cultivating, manufacturing and packaging marijuana, and the seizure of a large quantity of it in addition to a military pistol at his father's house, the citizen (H.M.).
•    The arrest of the Palestinian (H.A.) in Sidon for stabbing the Palestinian (A.A).
•    The arrest of citizen (M.M.) and his brother, the citizen (A.M.) in Ras Al Mal - Hermel for opening fire, which led to the death of a citizen.
The seized items were handed over and the arrested persons were investigated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities."
