Arrest of an individual involved in a clash in Al Hamra - Beirut

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 08/10/2024, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the citizen (AA.H.) for his involvement in a clash that included gunfire in Al Hamra - Beirut, resulting in injuries to three individuals.

Moreover, the patrol raided a shop and a residence belonging to an Egyptian (AA.AA.), one of the shooters, and seized a large quantity of firearms and military ammunition.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities. Efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining individuals involved.
