Arrest of a Lebanese and Syrian in the Beirut Waterfront area for committing several crimes, including forming a gang for robbery by force of arms

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 14/02/2024, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Beirut Waterfront the Lebanese (AA.Kh.) and the Syrian ((M.T.) for forming a gang for robbery by force of arms and for promoting and abusing drugs.
A handgun, an amount of drugs, and a motorcycle without legal documents were seized in their possession.
The confiscated items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
