Arrest of Two Citizens in Bshamoun and Burj Al Barajneh

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 05/11/2024, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Bshamoun the citizen (H.Z.) for forming an armed gang, instigating clashes, threatening citizens by force of arms, and roaming with others in armed convoys with the aim of terrorizing the residents of the area. He is also wanted under several arrest warrants for opening fire. Firearms and ammunition were seized inside his home.

Another patrol arrested in Burj Al Barajneh the citizen (M.S.) for abusing drugs and committing robberies and thefts by force of arms. He is also wanted under several arrest warrants for opening fire and carrying out robberies.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
