Arrest of two Syrians on suspicion of collaborating with the Israeli enemy

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As a result of monitoring and tracking espionage networks and collaborators with the Israeli enemy, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the Syrians (M.A.) and (B.AA.) for photographing various locations and points, as well as documenting the effects of hostile airstrikes and following up on search and rescue operations to recover bodies and verify results. It was found that they had been recruited through social media.

The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
