Ceremony honoring the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Lebanon

The Army Command held a ceremony honoring the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Lebanon Ibrahim Abdel Aziz Al-Sahlawi, in the presence of the Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun, a number of officers and the diplomatic staff of the Qatari Embassy. The ceremony came in appreciation of the continuous support provided by the State of Qatar to the military institution.

The Ambassador of the State of Qatar affirmed his country's support for Lebanon and its army at this exceptional stage, stressing on consolidating the ties of brotherhood and affection between the Qatari and Lebanese peoples.
On the other hand, General Aoun affirmed that the Army Command highly appreciates the initiatives undertaken by the State of Qatar towards the military institution, considering them as one of the most important components for the perseverance of the soldiers during the severe crisis in the country. He also appreciated the tireless efforts made by the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to strengthen relations with Lebanon.
