A ceremony honoring the martyred soldiers mothers on the occasion of Mother's Day, in the presence of the Lebanese Army Commander in Chief, General Joseph Aoun, and his wife, Mrs. Nemat Aoun

In the presence of the Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun and his wife, Mrs. Nemat Aoun, the Welfare center and Social Affairs Authority for the military veterans held a ceremony in honor of the martyred soldiers’ mothers on the occasion of Mother’s Day at the Central NCO Club in Fayadieh. The artists Wael Kfoury, George Khabbaz, Lilian Nimri and Youssef Al-Khal participated in the ceremony.

The Lebanese Army Commander in Chief delivered a speech in which he paid tribute to the mothers of the martyrs, appreciating their sacrifices and the sacrifices of their military sons in order to defend Lebanon, and affirming the permanent support of the military institution by their side.

He concluded by saying, "You are the mothers of the nation, not just the mothers of the martyrs."
