Ceremony to receive a donation from the UN Forces in Lebanon for the benefit of LAF

Wednesday, December 09, 2020 At the headquarters of the Un Forces in Lebanon - Naqoura, a ceremony was held to receive a donation to LAF, consisting of vehicles and spare parts, as well as equipment and generators. The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the South Litani Sector, Brigadier General Maroun el-Qubayati, representing the LAF Commander in chief General Joseph Aoun, and the Commander of the UN Forces in Lebanon, Major General Stephano Del Col, along with a number of officers.
In conclusion, Brigadier General el-Qubayati read a letter thanking the commander of the UN Forces in Lebanon on behalf of the General Commander in chief of the Army for this donation, then presented him with the Army Memorial Shield in appreciation of his efforts in supporting the army and contributing to maintaining security and stability in southern Lebanon.
