Continuing of Army Units Deployment in Ras Al Naqoura – Tyre and Towns in the Western Sector

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Army units are continuing their deployment in Ras Al Naqoura – Tyre and towns in the Western Sector, including Aalma Al Shaab, Al Dhayra, Aytaroun, Bint Jbeil, Tair Harfa, Majdel Zoun, Al Salhani, and Al Qawzah, following the withdrawal of Israeli forces. They are working to enhance their positioning and secure important points, in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and the five-member committee overseeing the ceasefire agreement (Mechanism).
In this context, specialized units continue to conduct engineering surveys to remove unexploded ordnance, open roads, and clear debris. Therefore, the LAF Command urges citizens to avoid approaching the area and to adhere to the instructions of military units until the deployment is complete.
