The funeral of the sergeant martyr Abdelkarim Al Mokdad

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command and the citizens of Shmustar held the funeral of the sergeant martyr Abdelkarim Al Mokdad who was martyred on 05/12/2023 due to the shelling of a military post belonging to the army in southern Lebanon by the Israeli enemy. The funeral began in front of Zahle Governmental Hospital, where the necessary honoring ceremonies took place, and the Medals of War, Wounded, and the Bronze Military Valor Medal were awarded to him. Then the body was transported to his hometown, Shmustar, where the memorial ceremony was held in the presence of General Mohamad Al Halabi, representing the Minister of National Defense, Maurice Selim and the Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun. General Al Halabi delivered a speech in which he said:

“Another hero from the army ascends the path of honor, sacrifice, and loyalty. He is the martyr Sergeant Abdelkarim Al Mokdad, whom we bid farewell to after he dedicated his soul to the steadfast south while performing his sacred duty, defending Lebanon against the Israeli enemy”.
