In the presence of LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun and several officers, a ceremony was held at the Army Command headquarters to honor the families of military martyrs who fell in the south during the recent Israeli aggression on Lebanon.

The LAF Commander expressed his condolences to the families of the martyrs, appreciating their sacrifices that saved Lebanon during the challenging times of the past. He emphasized that sacrifice is the fate and duty of the military.

He stated, "The sacrifices of our martyrs are a badge of honor for us, and the military institution does not forget its martyrs who offered their lives in defense of the homeland and its security since the establishment of the army until today."

He added, "Your martyr children are our children, and the dignity of their families is at the heart of the army's responsibilities. Their pure blood will not be shed in vain, and we must preserve their legacy and sacrifices."
