The inauguration ceremony of the infirmary of martyr Major General P.S.C François el Hage in Rmeish
Under the patronage of the Armed Forces commander General Joseph Aoun, represented by member of military council Major General P.S.C George Chreim, the inauguration ceremony of the military – civil infirmary of martyr Major General P.S.C François el Hage was held in Rmeish. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Randa Hamadi representing vice PM, the minister of General Health Ghassan Hasbani as well as the family of martyr Major General P.S.C François el Hage in addition to several officers from the LAF, security forces and UNIFIL and political and social figures.
The ceremony started with the Lebanese National Anthem, then Mr. Elie el Hage, son of martyr Major General P.S.C François el Hage and Dr. Randa Hamade delivered speeches in which they commended the qualities of the martyr Major General P.S.C and stressed the importance of the inauguration of the infirmary for the villagers at the level of health and development. Then Major General P.S.C Chreim delivered a speech I which he remembered the journey of martyr Major General P.S.C François el Hage and commended the cooperation between the LAF and the ministry of General Health and stated that the inauguration of the infirmary is the fruit of this cooperation where soldiers and civilians are benefiting from its medical services in Rmeish and nearby villages. It is also a first step that confirms the army’s interest in development work in addition to assigned security responsibilities. This step is also a base for similar projects that we are looking forward to establish in Akkar, Baalbek and other regions, serving Lebanese citizens in general.
Major General Chreim expressed on behalf of the Armed Forces Commander every person who contributed in making this project a success. He also toured it and inspected its departments and equipment.
