Individuals arrested and materials set for smuggling seized

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
From 24/06/2021 till 27/06/2021, the army units deployed in the North and Bekaa arrested 20 individuals: 10 Lebanese, 4 Syrians, 3 Palestinians and 3 Turks. The units thwarted the attempted smuggling of fuel into Syrian territory, including: 9500 liters of diesel and 4600 liters of gasoline, all loaded in 3 cisterns, 3 pick-up trucks, 3 vans and 1 car.
The seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities.
