The Intelligence Directorate arrests five individuals in Baalbek and Zahle

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On December 10, 2024, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, assisted by an army unit, arrested citizens (AA.M.), (AA.AA.), and (H.M.) in Aljabali- Baalbek for committing armed robbery on behalf of the wanted individual (H.J.). A quantity of drugs and military weapons was seized in their possession.

Additionally, another patrol arrested the citizen (R.B.) and the Syrian (K.B.) in Zahle for drug trafficking, and seized a quantity of cocaine in their possession.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
