LAF Commander Receives the Representative of the Military Technical Committee for Lebanon and President of the Lebanese Order of Malta, and Signs a Memorandum of Understanding

LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the representative of the Military Technical Committee in Lebanon (MTC4L), Major General Diodato Abaniara, and the President of the Lebanese Order of Malta, Marwan Sahnaoui. The discussion focused on ways to support the Lebanese Army.

General Aoun, Major General Abaniara, and Mr. Sahnaoui signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at implementing projects over three years to support army personnel and their families, as well as Lebanese citizens in various regions facing urgent needs, within the framework of civil-military cooperation. This initiative aligns with the humanitarian mission of the Order of Malta, in collaboration with member countries of the committee: Italy, the United States, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Canada, Egypt, Turkey, Denmark, as well as the European Union.
