The LAF Executes Series of Operations to Pursue Those Involved in Recent Violations

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Following the assault by protesters on a convoy of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and army personnel, which resulted in injuries, the army conducted a series of security operations and missions to maintain order on February 14 and 15, 2025, to pursue those involved in these violations. In this context, several individuals have been apprehended and are currently being investigated under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
The LAF Command reiterates its warning to citizens against engaging in acts of rioting and violations of public and private property, emphasizing the importance of peaceful expression of opinion. It assures that it will not tolerate any disruption of security or harm to civil peace.
