Meeting of the LAF Commander in Chief with the Commanders of Security Bureaus

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
The LAF Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun held a meeting at the Army HQ in Yarzeh, with the General Director of General Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, the General Director of State Security, Major General Tony Saliba, the General Director of the ISF Imad Othman, the Director of the Intelligence Directorate General Antoine Kahwaji, Deputy General Director of State Security, Brigadier General Samir Sannan, Head of ISF Information Branch, Brigadier Khaled Hammoud and Head of Information Affairs Office, Brigadier General Youssef Medawar.
The meeting parties discussed the fallout of the economic crisis and the popular movement in protest of the loss of gasoline and diesel and its consequences. They agreed to continue coordinating and to take practical steps to prevent the recurrence of recent security incidents that took place in more than one region.
