Meetings of General Aoun

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the General Director of General Security Major General Abbas Ibrahim and discussions during the visit addressed the security situation in the country and the joint coordination between both institutions. General Aoun received afterwards the Ambassador of Palestine to Lebanon Mr. Ashraf Dabbour who was accompanied by Minister Azzam el-Ahmad and Fatah Movement official Mr. Fathi Abu el-Ardat and discussions during the visit tackled the situation in the Palestinian camps.
Later during the day, General Aoun received the Ambassador of Colombia to Lebanon Ms. Georgina el-Chaer Mallat, then UNRWA General Director Mr. Claudio Cordone and talks during these visits addressed the general situation. General Aoun also received the Netherlands’ Defense Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Jan-Willem Mezger who introduced his successor Lieutenant Colonel Carel Gerritsen.
