Raid and arrest of wanted individuals in Beqaa

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 03/01/2023, an army force raided the residences of wanted individuals in Nahle- Beqaa, arrested the wanted (H.I.), and seized a Kalashnikov firearm, munitions, and two grenades.   
During the raid, the force came under fire, and one of the soldiers was wounded.
An army unit also arrested the citizen (Z.M.) in al Qasr – Hermel, wanted under an arrest warrant for opening fire using a firearm on a previous date.
The seized items were handed over and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
