Raids and Arrests of 8 Individuals in Various Regions

The Lebanese Army command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 19 November 2024, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence raided the residences of wanted individuals and arrested 8 individuals as follows:

• Arrest of citizens (H.M.), (H.M.), and (SH.M.) in the town of Maqneh – Bekaa for committing acts of robbery, theft, shooting, causing disturbances, and assaulting citizens, including military personnel.
• A raid on the residences of wanted individuals in the town of Hortaala – Bekaa resulted in the seizure of a quantity of drugs, in addition to counterfeit money.
• Arrest of citizens (W.R.) and (AA.K.), as well as the Syrian (J.J.) and the Palestinian (J.H.) in Rmeileh, following a conflict and shooting that occurred in one of the area’s hotels. Weapons and military ammunition were seized in their possession.
• Arrest of citizen (A.H.) in the town of Barja for shooting and attempted murder. A military pistol was seized in his possession.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
