Receipt of a New Installment of the Qatari Financial Donation

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command received a new installment of the Qatari financial donation worth $20 million, presented by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, to the LAF, as part of the continued support for the military institution amidst the current challenges.

The donation will be distributed equally among the military personnel as soon as the administrative procedures are completed.

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, expressed gratitude for this valuable initiative, affirming that it contributes to alleviating the burden of the crisis on the shoulders of the military personnel
