A running race on the occasion of the anniversary of the international council of military sports

On the occasion of the anniversary of the international council of military sports and under the supervision of the higher center for military sports in the army, a 5 Kms running race took place yesterday in Byblos. The race was attended by the commander of the center Brigadier General George el Hedd, representative of LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi as well as representatives of the commanders of security units and official sports figures. The race included the participation of runners from the army and the UNIFIL and from security units, the civil defense, the firefighting brigade, the Red Cross as well as universities, schools, unions and sports clubs.

At the end of the race, trophies and medals were distributed to the winners in the public garden of Byblos.
