Sad demise of Retired General Joseph Khoury

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation declares the sad demise of retired General Joseph Khoury who passed away on 12/02/2024.
The following information presents a brief summary of his life and military career:
•    Born on 01/07/1937 in Zgharta.
•    Enlisted in the Army on 07/10/1957 and rose through the ranks, starting as a lieutenant as of 16/09/1960 and reaching the rank of General as of 01/01/1988.
•    Received several medals and decorations as well as commendations and congratulations of the Lebanese Army Commander in Chief several times.
•    Followed several educational and training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
•    Married with three children.
