A truck carrying ammunition overturned on the Kahaleh Main Road

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 09/08/2023, a truck carrying ammunition overturned on Al-Kahaleh Main Road, leading to a clash between the truck's escorts and local residents, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. An army unit was dispatched to the scene and worked to contain the situation. The truck's cargo was transported to a military post, and an investigation was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.

On 10/08/2023, at 4:00am, the army unit successfully lifted the truck and reopened the road in both directions. The Army continues to monitor the situation and takes appropriate security measures.
