VISITORS OF GENERAL AOUN

The Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the Minister of Industry George Pushkian, and it was agreed to support productive thinking in the army by granting industry licenses, firstly to the Directorate of Geographic Affairs, in order to consolidate cooperation between the ministry and the military institution. He also received The commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) General Aroldo Lazaro, and they discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region. He also received the Dean of the Association of Arab and Foreign Military Attachés accredited in Lebanon the Romanian military attaché Colonel Stefan IOVANESCU at the head of a delegation from the Association, who commended the army’s ability to face challenges and praised the work of the rescue teams that participated in humanitarian operations in Turkey and Syria, and presented at the end of the meeting a financial donation to the Military Institution.
