VISITORS OF GENERAL AOUN

The Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh a delegation from the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence of the Italian Senate headed by Mrs. Stefania Gabriella Anastasia CRAXI, and includes Senator Michele BARCAIUOLO and Senator Raffaele DE ROSA, accompanied by the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ms. Nicoletta  BOMBARDIERE and the Italian military attaché Colonel Marco ZONA, and  they discussed the cooperation relations between the armies of both countries.
The delegation noted the role of the military institution in light of the difficult circumstances in the country, stressing the continued Italian support for the Lebanese army.
